I watched this last night while getting the baby to sleep, hence with the sound muted. Getting the baby to sleep took longer than usual, because I kept stifling snorts of laughter and she kept waking up.
I thought "I shall watch this with the sound up tomorrow, and find out what's going on."
And I did, and there is no sound. I feel somehow relieved. Any rational explanation would only have been disappointing.
I shall now refrain from making a joke about an ass hanging out.
Actually, I've just watched it again. It does have sound! And it's really f*cking weird. A sort of dubbed on braying, obviously human, from the perspective of the mule. I'm a bit freaked out.

It's certainly something of a guilty pleasure as it is, essentially a sustained sexual assault, albeit by a mule.
